Default Weekend project: Golf

Needed to find a way to carry my clubs to & from the golf course. I used a Tour Pak one-up rack and some scrap iron…...

Default golfin

When at Sturgis this year there was an outfit showing clubs that fit in a backpack. Irons used the same shaft and drivers had some variation on shaft length etc. The shafts were carbon fiber. Pretty cool I thought but probably for a more beginner to intermediate type golfer. Got to be some loss in feel with the multiple piece shafts. Probably would work great for me as I browse the ruff looking for my *****. They were a pretty neat setup and cheaper than the Bustec trailer I was thinking about.

There's a guy riding around here on a Goldwing that has a vertical rack for his clubs in his trailer hitch. Obviously purpose built, it doesn't look like much to weld up and is very sano. Next time I see the bike parked somewhere I'll snap a picture.

I just started playing disc golf. Discs fit in stock saddlebags! :-)

I have seen a guy in my neck of the woods that has a rack for his golf bag that takes the place of one of his saddle bags using the quick detach system.
