Default Help! Custom seats........

I hope someone out there can help me out. I would like to hear from anyone who has experience with C&C seats or Bar Enterprises seats. Preferably 2 up seats. I would like to get some insight on the comfort level both driver and passenger area. If you own or have owned either of these Please HELP!

Thanks much!

Don't know if this will help but I had the Corbin Gunfighter and Lady on my last softail and loved the seat. My wife also commented the other day that she thought it was more comfortable than the HD drivers backrest seat I have that cost me $600.

I have two C&C seats.... the solo and the sport tour 2up. They are both comfortable. The longest distance I have ridden on any one of them was 300 miles and that was on the solo. The sport tour and the solo are basically the same seat though. C&C is very easy to work with and will take care of any needs you have.

They look like very nice seats, and I know a few guys here have them and like them.
Personally, I wouldn't buy any seat unless it was made with a steel seat pan.
I was having problems with my HD Brawler (plastic pan) flexing and cutting the vinyl where it hit the strut. I went through three of them before my LePera finally showed up. No more problems.

Hey Lionsqrne, Would you say the sport tour is more confortable than the stock seat. This is what I am trying to figure out. They just look so much thinner than stock.

Thanks again.

I have a C7C Fastback on my bike now and I am very happy with it. I can go a tank full (190mi) with out stopping, I also think it looks great, better than the badlander.

I had a Corbin , a HD Badlander , Stock seat and a Softail Standard seat before this and was never as comfortable as I am now. And the C & C was the least expensive.

I reccommend them to all of my friends, call and talk to Chuck he is the owner and will work with you to get the right seat.

The sport tour and the solo are both more comfortable than the badlander. They do get a bit thin towards the front of the seat but they have the comfort built into the seat area where it matters most. The solo will drop you into the bucket an 1" and the sport drops you into the bucket an 1 1/4". It makes me feel more "one" with the bike if you will by sitting that much lower. The sport tour is I believe is a 1/4 inch wider than my solo and you can tell even that. It also has more of a bottom of the back support built into it. Fit's the **** real nice. I don't have a pic of it on my bike but I can probably get one conjured up next couple of days if you wish. The pic's they have on the website though are real similiar to the way mine looks. I have a softail standard customized out so mine looks alot like thier photo of it on the train. Plus, if you call and ask chuck he will send you some better photo's of it it also.

I was a little concerned with how big the passenger area was. Didn't know if I would like it peaking over the edges of the fender like it looks in the photo but after I got it and put it on... (mine is a 200 rear end by the way) it looks like it was definitly made for the bike. The wife and kids like the comfort of the passenger area also. I only have the sport tour really for 2 up riding. I ride mainly with the solo. Another big seller for these seats for me was the room under the pan that they have. I can get my PCIII in there along with everything else very easily.

I have one of the BAR Enterprises Hitchhiker Plain (no split) seats on my Night Train (you can see it in my sig pic below). I've done 16 hour/700 mile days on it, and it's very comfortable. I have Millenium foam on the driver's portion. The built-in lumbar support and high back really support the lower back area, and even after many hours and miles of riding I never got any back pain. On the super long days I did get a bit of tailbone discomfort, but I think that has more to do with the rear suspension on my bike.

Cheers!
