No

That is old news. They did crack down 12 years ago and were forced to reduce regulations to get people back. I've been almost every year since 2010 and never had any issue.

Just obey the laws and don't act a fool. I see very few people pulled over.

I'm not a big on bike weeks, as far as I am concerned they all suck. I do like hanging around the bar the ones out of town with the bikers and love the ride to get there and back.

I get that. I'm a bit like that. But I do like just being amidst all the bikes going this way and that (as long as they arent jackasses). And I like stopping by the vendor areas, to see how I can waste money. I'm not big on the concerts that some of them have become. I'm just into the bikes. And the riding. That is the cool part of going to a bike event - choosing one that's in an area with good riding.

In general bike rally's are so so. But Myrtle beach is a good destination for a early beach vacation. My wife fly's in to meet me in the middle of the week. I get to ride down from Pa. thru the outerbanks. Takes me about two and quarter days to get there by the route I go. Mid week do the venders and a show or two at night, before the tough guys get into town. Ride home in a day. Just a good time overall, been doing it for about 20 years now.

i realize yours is an older post, but im just now looking into riding from ny (long island) to MB. wondering if you might be so kind as to share the route you ride into MB from PA? riding 95 all the way down seems like a boring waste, which i want to try to avoid. thanks for your time.
