What is US82 like? I'm thinking about using US82 from NM to AL and would like to know how it compares to I20.

across Mississippi, it's a good road. Mostly 4 lane. Speed limits vary from 55-70. Some towns it goes through, some it goes around.

I20 is a true interstate. 82 and 20 intersect at Tuscaloosa, Al.
