i have a 2012 48 and the right side turn signal stopped working. the front turn works. steps i have done to diagnose the problem.
i tried a new bulb 2 new bulbs actually just to make sure.
i removed the seat and unplugged both light harnesses
i then plugged the right side plug into the left just to test if the wiring is bad on the back side or front of the harness. i was able to figure out its on the front side as the left turn signal worked. and the right side stopped confirming the wiring has a problem in front of the rear plugs. i cant see any kinked wires when i removed the tank. o ya the break light works fine please help
does anyone have a good wiring diagram not sure what to do next but i cant pass inspection in NY because of this if anyone knows a place on long island that will pass me please pm me as i really dont want a ticket

According to my manual (for an 04) there's nothing between the connectors under the seat (the one's you swapped) and the indicators except the 2 wires. I'd look under the mudguard (or fender) and at the sharp turns (like where they enter the indicator) for a break.
