I recently installed the pandemonium yo momma exhaust on my 2000 883 and it rests against my stock air box. Is there a possibility it will get so hot my air cleaner catches fire?
Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. IIRC the back-plate of your airbox is plastic. A greater risk is that it will melt or distort due to the heat. Melted plastic is messy stuff at best and may well catch fire. It would be wise to change your air filter to one that gives plenty of clearance from the pipes!
