Hello everyone. Picked up a sportster this week. 2007 883 custom with only 2,452 miles, sissy bar saddle bags, very nice condition. Almost new old stock. paid $4,500. What is the blue book value or retail value?
Welcome to the forum...post some pics when you can.
Here is the NADA value for a 2007 883 with no regard to options/modification and mileage.
yea I saw that. Doesn't mean **** to me. just wondering about street values. I think I got a good deal. Will post picks soon. The bike was filthy dirty and cleaned up real nice.
Depends on where you live. Locally, I can find 2007-09 883s around $3500-4000. There are at least three of them up on CL now for under $4k, and a few older ones (2001-2006) for around $3k.

You asked what the NADA book value was and then when someone tells you, you say it doens't mean **** to you.
They answered your question. NADA book value is what dealers,. insurance companies, and banks use to determine the value of a motor vehicle. Street value, or private party sale value is usually less than book value. My 06 1200 sportster was less than what you paid, and I bought it from a dealer.
If you think you got a good deal, then be happy and don't ask others what they think.
