I have a iron 883 2016 and couple month ago start a grinding sound on the primary when decelerating, i consult with a mechanic and finally find a clutch hub bearing its moving and its not supposed too, so i replaced it and the grinding sound goes off in some of the gears but left it in 4th gear when decelarating. Couple days ago i take the primary off to check everithing again and i see that the clutch hub have a movement just like the other bad bearing. So i not sure how two bearing can be damaged. I am replacing again. The sportster have only 4000 miles. Maybe the mechanic replacing the first bearing damaged it, maybe its why still grinding?
