Default Clutch hub bearing?

So I have scoured the internet and this forum to try and zero in on the noise that has been slowly getting louder in the primary. It sounds like a muffled can of marbles, the typical sound everyone describes. In all the items I have read most describe the inner primary bearing as sounding similar except, that the noise would go away when the clutch was pulled in. The sound from mine was constant.

Feeling confidant I pulled the primary and pulled the clutch pack out of the hub to see what I could feel/hear. At first I thought that a slight noise that I thought might have been residual fluid moving around. It appeared that the outer hub moved a little as I spun the inner hub. It wasn't until I put pressure on the primary chain that I finally got results. Hub moved a good bit during rotation and it became really notchy. I'm feeling very confidant that it is the hub bearing, but, I want to get a consensus. With the outer hub still held by the primary chain would the spinning of the inner hub be moving the inner primary bearing? I will be pulling the clutch assembly tomorrow to press out the hub bearing. Hoping I won't have to tear down again to do the inner primary bearing, but, I don't have the time now to do it.

Sorry for the long post, been a long day searching for an answer.

If the main shaft that goes through the clutch and continues on through the inner and to the transmission is spinning then the inner primary bearing is spinning. I changed both bearings. (Put it in gear with the clutch plates removed and spin the back tire). When you take that hub off to get the bearing pressed you are half way to getting the inner off. Make sure you use a locking bar and break the comp bolt loose before you remove the clutch assembly. The only bad part is you need a special tool to change the IPB race.
