Clearing error codes
Hi Guys Iron 2014 .
Getting some error codes , Cleared the ECM codes but there is an error in what looks like BCM ON THE BIKE display.
I cannot clear it , i have also changed the battery , so i disconnected the battery obviously. That did not help.
I went into the error codes on the Power Vision and cleared codes , cleared the ECM but they come back when i start.
They are saying the sensors are open .
I have put on the power vision Target tune , so new sensors , wide band O2 , preparing for the 1275 upgrade.
All i could find was to reset the ECM was in the end you had to disconnect everything . So i did.
Is there another way , cleared codes using Power vision , also using the bikes clear function but that leaves the BCM code there even when it says cleared.
Also used a FP3 to try and clear the error codes . No luck there as well..
Is there another way to reset the ECM and BCM , i think that is what the display shows.
EG can i send a micro charge of 12 volts to reset ? Going to be taking photos of the PV error codes and the speedo dial error codes.
All electrical work was done by an auto electrician .NOT ME- I know nothing .

If a code returns immediately at switch on or won't clear then you have a hard fault that needs attention I would think.
