CONVERSION Update.
Brand new to me...
As of today, May 2022
So I bought this guy last summer and I have been slowly updating it as time and budget allows. The goal was to not spend a fortune on a 22 year old bike, and so far so good.
I did a mild chop of the rear frame rails because I did not want to take too much of the rear fender. I am going to try to come up with a way of getting a lower fender after riding season.
With the hidden switch gear wires and the flatter guage the cockpit looks like I had hoped. I still need to work on the paint and hopefully getting rid of the swirls and scratches.
I just swapped out the stock jets for a 48 and 180, and it runs well. No more backfires or stumbles. It might be slightly rich but I want to give it a little more TLC with new plugs and such.
After a LONG winter and wet spring it was nice to finally get out and ride in NE Oh this past week.
