Idle Issue?
So I have had the typical high idle issue on my 07 nightster that just came up recently. I did the normal stuff, i reset the TPS and then checked intake seals. Sprayed a little parts cleaner near the seals and got a little change in the idle. I tried to do the propane method but couldn't get it to work. So i kinda just assume it was the seals. Today i grabbed some new seals from the dealer and intake gaskets and got to work. So i start the bike and it still idles high. I figured it was just me i know a lot of people have problems with the seals and getting them installed right. but i checked with parts cleaner again and no leaks. So i was a little baffled. no idle changes with parts cleaner or propane again.
So i noticed the rocker box leaking on the front cylinder not a ton of oil coming out or anything. So the bike was running and i shot that spot with parts cleaner and the idle spiked. is it possible that that's the issue? i didn't think it would be that at all.
