I bought a used 2014 Harley XL1200X and it came with a V-inner error on the dashboard (speedometer) that I can't erase.According to the previous owner, he replaced the dashboard and it didn't sync with the control unit.Today, the speedometer works, but the odometer shows less mileage than it should and the V-inner doesn't let the gear/RPM and hours stay fixed on the screen.I took it to a Harley guy but he couldn't fix it.Does anyone know if it's possible to fix it or if I'll need to replace the control unit and speedometer?
Another problem is that when I turn on the ignition of the motorcycle, the characteristic noise of the fuel pump takes a long time to stop or does not stop at all. This behavior started after it left the hands of the Harley guy.Does anyone know if it is a malfunction or a problem caused by him?

No idea about the speedo. The fuel pump sounds like the line inside the tank either has a hole or a leak thats not allowing the pump to prime right.
I believe what is referred to above as "V-inner" probably means VIN Error.
This can happen if the speedometer was changed without using the special
transfer cable(typically <2013 models) or if the speedo was already "married" to a previous ECM....
