Most people are pretty good about Sporties...but there are some idiots still running loose.
The pic is hard to see, I have a 06 883 Sportster, that has hard bags off a 1960 K-Model sportster and a Full fairing to boot. Vance and Hinds straight shot exhaust with a Kuryaken Hypercharger. I can cruise with them all and leave them in the dust when needed.

Rob, Where did you get the fairing? Was it made to fit the Sporty or did you have to do some mods?

Whoever said Sportsters weren't touring bikes is full of chit.

I picked it up @ a swap meet in Webster, FL. Had to clean it up do some cosmetics and pait it. The brackets are homemade...picked up some steel at local hardware store and took to my shop I manage and heated and bent into shape. Hard work but as you can see it paid off. Had many people say it could not be done....that just means I will do it especially to prove them wrong. I have been told BMW used this fairing back in the late 70's early 80's...Live the Dream.

Thanks, I'll just have to keep my eyes open and hopefully come across a good deal someday. That bike does look good.

Last summer, while walking into a gun store, a guy and gal (on there way in to a free food shelter-of all things!) looked as I dismounted my bike. As I crossed the street, the guy said "nice bike, but you should have bought a big Harley." I just said, "I bought what I wanted." He smiled and went in the homeless free food shelter. Go figure.
