Default Need Help - Adding 4 inch pull-back risers

I just tried to fit 4" pullbacks on a 1200L. All cables seemed to be long enough except the two going to the speedo and the idiot lights. I need about another 2 inches on those cables. Before I pull off the tank to look at them I figured I'd ask if there was any point in looking or do I just need to get new cables?

Tiger , try taking off the tank and running the harness between the tank and the frame. I put 6" risers and did it that way. Plenty of room . Where are you putting the speedo ? On top or are you swinging it over the tank ? I got a new bracket and put mine over the tank. try it & give a shout back. Phil...

I agree with kardoc i remount the speedometer in the same spot once the tank got lifted i had enough room to do whatever i wanted with it and since the tank wasoff i got a nice paint job from A&M Auto Body since 1981

Thanks guys. There was enough cable under the tank. Here are a couple of pictures with the risers.

I put a set on my bike last Saturday and at full turn they hit the peanut tank. I had to return them. I'm going to try 3.75 straight risers.
