Default Sportster Handle Bars

I have seen the other posts on this topic, but never got a response to my question.

Just bought my first bike, Sportster 883. I like the look of the Drag Bars or Steet Slammers but am worried about comfort. Anybody with this set up tell me if they find it hard on the back

I didn't like the feel of drag bars on my back. I have something with some rise now and the feel is much nicer. I liked the control of the drag bars better but it is nice to sit up.

I had em and liked the look but it takes a toll on your back after an hour or so.

I ampersonally more comfortable leaning forward but thats just me. I'm installing some broomstick bars on my Nightster as soon as they get here.

The Street Slammers are pretty comfortable in my opinion... The width makes them more comfortable... I think it's the narrow drag bars that are really hard on the back and shoulders

I think the mini-apes are the most comfortable for long ridesbuthandling would be better with a stock bar,or drag bar.If you have a good back and never had any soreneck problems the drag barswould work. It really depends how you feel when you ride.
