Default Sportster Bars

Well I finally registered after reading here for about a year. I know it has been discussed thousands of times but I was thinking about using Nightster bars or wondering if something more like Sportster pullbacks would be better. I am tired of the buckhorns and looking for a cheap way to make a change.

Sporty bars will fit fine. I have them on my SG with 4.5 pullback risers using stock wiring and brake lines. They are around $50 at the dealer as are most stock type bars. Some online places have bars for more or less.

Thanks for the replies. I guess the question was should I go with stock Nightster bars or go with a set of the sporster bars with a little more pullback. I have thought about going with drag bars but I am not sure that is the way I want to go yet. I still have not been able to get completely comfortable with the stock bars so it is time to make a change. Guess I will start the search.

I put on the stock Low Rider bars with no riser. I like the fit, and will someday buy some drilled bars to hide the wires.

If you want I have a 3 1/2 inch rise bar 28" wide that I can send you for $20....
perfect shape... you can try out a drag position for real cheap...
I really like the position and control of these bars but I chose the apes after going back and forth for about 2 weeks...
