Default o4 and o7 engine

Are the 04 and 07 engins swapable. I know 07 fuel injected but if you change intakes to 04 carbs can you use it?

As far as I know, the engine itself is the same. Why are you thinking about changing it out? you might just as well spend the money on a stage2/3 upgrade to your existing motor and get 90-100 hp out of it then.

That links page says "From EFI to Carburetor Upgrade". Isn't that an OXYMORON?

I thought it was weird too, But would they call it "From EFI to Carb downgrade"

Depending on the components and the tune a lot of carb bikes are very similiar to EFI bikes on most of the Dyno reports I seen.
