Default Will this setup work.

My wife is wanting to put a set of mini apes on her 07 1200C, but neither of us like the look of apes with the stock gauge/riser setup. So, I was thinking about getting a stock speedo housing and stock risers and clamps from a 1200 Low and then adding a set of factory bars from a Street Bob. I know I will have to change out the throttle cables and brake lines and clutch cable as well, and prob will even have to lengthen the wiring, which is no problem, But my question is this: Since the speedo's on both Sportsters are the same they should interchange without a problem, but will the idiot lights on the 1200C wiring harness just snap into the housing on the 1200 Low housing? Also,... was courious if anyone on here has done this swap?

Yes that will work. You can pop the idiot lights out easily. Just watch your clearances on everything and adjust accordingly...you should be good.

Good choice. In my opinion, apes with the stock Custom risers look terrible.
