I recently bought a 1995 sportster 883. I need a new front wheel and tire. I need to know what years will intercange with the rotor size. My bike has cast 9 spoke mags. I am looking for anything to get me going again. It doesnt matter about color or number of spokes right now. I have a 78 lowrider as well. The axle size is the same on the two, but the flange where the rotor mounts to the wheel is smaller on the sportster. I just need to know what years will fit. I have found several on ebay, but do not want to buy something and when it gets to me, it not fit.

anything with a narow glide front end will work, if its a newer wheel with 1" bearings, you can have a shop swap out the bearings for you. so id say a sporty, superglide or a lowrider. as long as it has the same diameter rotor. which is 11 1/2 inch.

i own a lowrider as well. The outside diameter of the bearing flange is smaller on the sportster, so tthe rotor will not fit on the lowrider wheel. it is just an 1/16 smaller, but still too small.
