Fuelpak programming ?
Fuel Mileage? The low fuel light comes on before 100 miles anyway. I don't know what kind of fuel mileage I got, or, will get. But, I am really ready to get rid of the lean condition I had previously. My bike would cough on take off occasionally, it would run like crap when cruising around town about 20-30, and when you would barely start slowing down it would start popping. If it cures this, it will be money well spent.
I passed two fools riding today in Fairmount, a community of about 3300 people. It was 27 degrees when I seen them. There is absolutely no way they were comfortable. I can't wait to get out and test out the fuelpak, but, not at the cost of freezing my nards.. One guy had a for sale sign on his windshield, the other guy drove right beside me, I wave, and he just looks on. I'm not sure if he was too cool, or, just froze..
O.K. so I'm not the only one. Had the same problem on my 2007 883. Had to stuff the battery back in it's box! Moving the clip's took all the room that was there. The unit itself just fit under the left cover. Mount's right on the battery with velcro. When I first put it in gas Mi. sucked, but the bike was going through break in. It did get allot better after that. Mine run's rich, going to see if fuelpak has new numbers for this bike. The dealer sold me a screamin eagle A.C. but I think it may need something better. (more flow). It run's great, seldom if ever pop's, but tend's to (gurgle) when not into the throtle. Good luck, Allways keep it in the wind...................

You can get the values directly off of the V&H web site. I know they had them for standard and quiet baffles, but I'm not sure if they had values posted for no baffles at all?
[quote=vegasrock;4341051]anyone got pics of theres installed?[/quot
I will try and take some pics tonight. Not much to see though. It is pretty well hidden above the battery area. About the only thing you will be able to see will be the harness.

Here's some pics. I had this installed by a local indy. It took him a long while. He had to move some wires and do some sodering. Hard to get it into that little space, but I really like how it works.
Hmm, I am curious about the "no baffles" setting to.
Wonder if the reason that they don't have settings posted for this option is due to the fact the engine needs a slight back pressure to get peak performance at mid to high speed ranges, like a car?
Might have to e-mail V&H and see what they say about it.

V&H short shots have little if no back pressure. That's why they are so loud. Ask them first, but I'd think if you go with standard set numbers, you should be O.K. Fuelpak will ask you what baffle you run (i.e.) standard/quiet. See what they say and let us know. like to find out myself. Keep it in the wind...............
