looking at buying a sporty for my wife. has anyone lowerd one? how low was it?unitas

W just bought a '00 1200c from a friend. They had it lowered about one inch. It has adjustable rear shocks so no real modifacations. We think it rides good.

The combo of the seat and factory shocks brings the Low model below the other XL's right out of the showroom.

If you go aftermarket, many have put progressives shocks and fork springs in that lowered things a couple inches. Possible bottoming out in the fender that route but heard very few complaints.
