what exacly is the word LEAN meaning (bikely speaking...)

Too much air/too little gas.
Makes the engine run very hot, and can do bad things.

If you add more air, you must add fuel. Thats what all the talk about SERT/Downloads/PCIII/rejetting is about. Adding more fuel to balance the fuel/air mixture.

If you think you are running lean, take a look at your spark plugs. The color is the tell tail sign.
