I have just put on aHigh Five A/C and also D&D Fatcats over the weekend. A fuelpak is in the post but has not cleared customs (I live in the Middle East).
Question is, can I ride it before putting in the fuel management system or am I going to knacker the engine. Have taken it around the block once because I couldn't resist it.

Since you don't say what bike you have or whether it's has the factory FI setup it's hard to be sure. But if bikes in the middle east are set up like new bikes in the US, it's already running lean coming from the factory and your modifications just make it leaner. You aren't going to do your engine any favors, so Why risk it? It's tough but I'd wait.

I would reinstall the factory air cleaner so you can ride without running your bike too lean. When you finally get some fuel management device, then you can safely use your less restrictive air filter setup. Harley dealers will tell you it's OK to run replacement slipon mufflers without needing a download or fuel management add-on.
