Default Tail light conversion help

Just purchased a Nightster Fender for my 08 Sporty and plan on doing the change over this weekend. I bought the Harley Tailight Conversion kit Part #69463-06 from the Stealer, but I'm not sure if this will work for what I want it to do, which is totally eliminate my fender mounted brake light, like the Nightster. Any one know if this part will work or not? Thanks for any input.

I had that done by the dealer before I took delivery of my bike. Depending on your state you might need the red lenses for the signal lights which after the conversion will act as your break lights and signal lights. Sounds like the same part they used.
