lot of extra money to buy those covers when he could just get a shop manual and remove the actual covers and powder coat those. Don't they run like $600 for the two msrp?

They are expensive, but I got the primary cover for $55 off eBay, the sprocket cover for about the same. I couldn't find a cam cover at the time so I decided to go with the trim cover.

The original HD set of these 3 covers in chrome would run over $600. I paid a total of about $150-$175.

I was talking about the trim covers, not the actual hard covers. buy a set of chrome trim covers and have them PC
