Right now I'm using an HJC CL-21 Flame helmet. It's a big motherf'r of a helmet. I really want to get one of those sleeker ones yet I have no idea what kind they are. I'm talking about the ones that seem to fit close to the head and don't have any excess bulk, but not a novelty one because I know those aren't DOT approved. Now most of those probably aren't DOT approved, but some have got to be right? Anyone have a pic of themselves in theirs that is similar to what I am describing?
Check these guys out, you might find what you're looking for.
I have 2 of the "POLO" style, Chrome Orange & Candy Black.
Very comfortable, lightweight, looks good.
The best part is they are DOT legal.
I'm with Bolillo on this one... I have a Short German half helmet, made with a combination of Carbon and Kevlar, mine is not DOT, but it is made using the same method as the DOT version... they have a couple DOT approved versions like the Polo version that Bollilo uses.... really well made and they look pretty cool too...
