I had the Kuryaken grips on my Honda Sabre, and I liked them alot. Currently, I am using the HD Diamond grips and love them. They look really cool when they get a little "weathered", too.

The best grips IMHO are the ones that you feel are the most comfortable for your hands and that you like the style of. What I may like the feel of quite probably will not be the same for you.

I personally went into the dealership and looked at all the bikes and the different grips and tried them. I went with comfort and feel first then style. My personal favorite was the chrome and rubber series in the large size. They felt the best to me. Second were the ironside grips.

Hope this helps some.
