Default Baffles

My bike has been without baffles since I bought it. It had around a thousand miles on it when I bought it back in 06. The previous owner had taken out the baffles. Now that being said, like most first time buyers I liked the sound and didnt think anything anything about it. This is the only bike I've ever owned. Someone pointed out the fact that it didnt have baffles not long after I bought it. I didnt really care at the time. But, fast forward three years and my tastes have changed a little. My local indie is fresh out of used baffles. The local dealer ordered me a pair but they ended up being the wrong ones. I became impatient and didnt want to reorder. I have searched ebay high and low for a set. I would buy new exhaust but Ive been thinking about trying to sell and dont really want to spend that much. Does anyone have any idea where I can get some baffles. Maybe some website I havent heard of. Anything.

Make yourself a set of Lollie Pop's do a web search on them. Since I have 3 1/8 SE pipes without baffles I could not find a thub screw large enouth to make a differance so I made a set out of L brakets and some like 2" washers and they worked good. The bike was still loud, but not as loud. I have them out right now, but they wored almost too good for what I was after. Guys with small pipes tend to just use a the largest thumb screw they can find and it works out. If I had pix of the ones I made I would show you, but I don't. Maybe give me your email address and I can take I pic of them with my phone and send it to you.

Ebay. There are plenty of baffles available for low prices.
