I recently bought a used '03 lowrider, and I'm loving it. I've spent a bit of time removing aftermarket parts that the previous owner put on that I thought didn't look good on the bike.
One thing he put on that does look good is the set of V&H long-shots. They look great, and sound great. But they are LOUD!!! Apparently, the V&H quiet baffles don't fit the long shots, so that's not an option.
Anyone have any recommendations for a similar look/sound, but maybe just not quite as loud?
Do they have any baffles in them now? They should have come with a set of baffles, but probably not "quiet" baffles. If you have straight pipes now, you may be able to find standard baffles on eBay or some other source.
I may have found a solution... a product called Thunder Monster Baffle, by Big City Thunder.
They have aftermarket baffles to fit several popular aftermarket exhausts.

Don't have personal experience with them, but the crew that runs them will probably tell you they are even louder.

Don't own a set but I have heard them in some pipes .... sound good... still loud... I think I would call em up and get some more info from them.
These quiet baffles I have in my big shots are getting louder what is up with that? I really noticed it today. I have not ridden in a week so maybe I am hearing things,I have been toldthe big city thunder guys make the quiet baffles for V&H so they might have something that fits your longshots.
