You have a common problem, and it has been discussed on the forum HERE. If it weren't so darn expensive replacing all the cables (brake, clutch, throttle, electricals), I'd have already gone with the 10" miniapes.

In my opinion, mini apes or buckhorns are the best solution. Saves the lower back.

I 6'2". I would not mind my bars being maybe an inch closer. But really, after 6 hours of riding on Sunday the only thing that hurt me was my damn ***! Seat felt hard as a rock by the end of the day. Gotta change that stock seat out. Feels great for a few hours. But that last hour I really felt it.

I was thinking about putting Dyna Bobber handlebars on. Does anyone know if I would have to change cabling? Also has anyone put Wide Glide bars on and what has to be changed if those are put on. Thanks for the inputs.

go for choppers, inc risers and a streight drag bar, looks awsome and the cables are fine if you go with the 7" riser, it takes a bit to get used too.
The seat is a real pain in the *** I droped the bike about 2" in the back and it feels like a hard tail.
