Default A Repeat Post

Since this section has a steady stream of newbies, and in keeping with the never ending repeat posts/questions, here's one that hasn't popped up for awhile.

What is the purpose of the hole at the bottom of the front fender?

It's obviously for some chalk that you put in there to rub on your tire which then marks the ground and leaves a trail so you can find your way back home. Any other brain busters??

But before everyone starts mounting flaps...it's really for a plumb bob for alignment of forks to frame)

I have no idea as I'm too busy trying to figure out what speed I should change gears.

Of course, the rest of the answers are right, too, just not quite as right.

Please send me a link to everything you know, that I want to know. You know?

And hey, has anyone here ever changed their own oil? What kind do you use?

I was thinking about some new grips. Has anyone else ever thought of that?

Ah, I shouldn't make fun, but sometimes it's too fun. There are so many people out there that should not be working on there own bikes. Gonna hurt themselves and the next person that owns the bike.
