Thanks man, yeah I'll be ordering some small bullet signals in the future for sure when the funds are a little better. I was going to do it all black but thought it might make the wheel look small and it would give it a bit of contrast with the lip but I'm still tossing the idea to paint it all black. Maybe a project for when I get bored.
Bad news today tho the damn DMV was a pain in the *** with all sorts of garbage so I didn't get it tagged as yet plus came to find out I have a charging problem. Yesterday the battery died and I chocked it up to it being an old battery that just sat in it too long without it being used so I bought a new one and it died today. I did a bit of testing that I could do by myself and it appears that it is the stator but I need a friend to give me a hand to test it better/more in depth. So more down time
I know this is a really old thread and for that I appologize, but did you pull the motor to paint it or did you just mask everything off really well? I just got a used sporty and the crinkle coat is all jacked up on it
