At my dealership there is a V-rod with massive slicks and no headlight and a shift light etc...its a drag bike.
And you can buy one from Harley.

My father-in-law has an '06 Softail and my Sporty will destroy that thing.
It's a stock 03 Classic. We've never raced them, but from riding it myself and riding side by side on my 09 1200C, his just seems quicker.

It's a Porsche. Seriously, Porsche helped design the Revolution engine.

Some people feel that "real" Harleys only have air-cooled, pushrod V-twins. Which is quite sad. At one point, in the 70s, Harley was in the process of developing a liquid-cooled V-4 engine, but the AMF buy-out killed it. Imagine what could have been.

Exactly what I was getting at.

If people would let harley's advance they could potentially be a lot cooler. I for one think the vrod is a step in the right direction.

My new Street Bob would blow the doors off of the Iron that I just traded in. 0-60, 60-100 and just off the line. No doubt.

My Street Bob feels a bit faster (0-60) also, then my old Sportster...
Rod

They are both a fun ride!

Wonder how it stacks up against a 1200? What kind of power does the SB put down in stock form? How much does it weigh?
