I have searched all over for three inch extensions for my forward controls, but no one makes them. I know there was guy here making them, but he is no longer making them (I tried emailing him then saw a post where he said he wasnt making them anymore). Maybe he should sell the dimensions so we can have them made
I thought someone posted mechanical drawings somewhere for the plates, but I cant find them now. I have a couple local people in mind to make me a set, and I thought any dimensions to start with would be good?
Any chance anyone who bought a set on here doesnt want them?? I am in real need
I bought a forwards kit that claims to be a 2" extension from the HD kit. It came in the mail yesterday and I plan on installing it tonight. Set me back $430. If you could sell your current forwards for +/- 200 you may be just as well off getting the same kit I did. Found it on eBay.

I'll let you know how they feel once they are on.
I am having some issue with my kit. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone under any circumstances at this point.

Well I got them on and they arent too bad now. Not the most thought through product though. The right peg is shifted forward by a simple jog, but the brake pedal isnt 2 inches longer, which puts the brake an a strange location. There is an extra connection on the left side which takes away some of the strength. Im not worried about it braking but it has a little wiggle is it. I also think the right and left pegs are in slightly different locations. I cant tell by feel but can see it when I sit on the bike.
Its a drag specialties kit. You may have better luck than I did. Even with the above issues I am glad I got the extra 2 inches.
