Default 1200C riser swap out help

Hey guys i need all your infinate wisdom again. I am getting ready to swap out my C riser and speedo set up. I have a 2002C. What bike year speedo setup will fit on my bike. Also is the wiring harness diff than the other bikes. Meaning does my bike have a longer harness b/c its a C. If it is what do i do about the extra length.

Depends on what type of riser / speedo location you're looking for...There aren't a lot of readily available options for the Custom models. This is what I've done.

Just riser and speedo or are you changing bars also?

Quick and dirty, a 2002 Hugger had a black speedo housing, risers and handlebar clamp. It'd be easy to get the part #'s. '02 Sportsters use riser bushings in the triple clamp. '04 & up don't.

I want to do a bar swap later on. But right now just riser and speedo location change. Is there any way to locate my speedo onto the forks like the 04's can do?
