I spilt gas all over my tank, whats the best stuff to use on this to stop the faded look. I've tried a "back to black" automotive polish but it soon wears off and I can see the gas spillage stain again.

Are you talking about stock paint you spilled gas on or was it repainted? My friend actually waxes the denim black if he has a spot he needs to get out. I use ArmorAll cleaner. It's not the shiny protective ArmorAll it's a cleaner that comes in a spray bottle has all different scents.

harley makes a spray that´s a cleaner, reads denim paint got one with the new bike, i have not used it yet, spilled gas twice on the tank and no problems at all, my buddy uses his for cleaning works a treat, but i will find some wax for a little protection off the paint.

regards RIX

If you still have it, I'll take it off your hands. I think I'm to new to send you a PM but if you give me your PayPal and a shipped price I'll send it over.
