if i change crag bars to mini apes will i have to change the grips?

Not as long as you go with a 1" bar, but you may have to change the clutch & brake cables.

You probable will need to change the cables. I think i saw some cables for sale in the for sale section on here.

check out the DIY section - couple a threads on bar changes - they have a neet little suggestion for removing the left grip without destroying it

You will have to change cables and you will need to get a wire harness extention. If they don't get destroyed removing them from your current bars you can reuse your grips.

I changed grips before I changed to mini-apes and my grips came right off with no problem...

But if you do have a problem... use an air blower with your compressor... that works great also...
