Default Engine paint

So its getting cold out and its time for the next project. I have decided to get some high heat spray paint and get at it. My question to all who reads this is, can you paint the engine heads? and what will the paint take to the best?

Yup, matter of fact I am going to do this myself. Prep the parts really well, and apply a good adhesion promoter.

I did mine last winter, and the best advice I can lay on you is to clean, clean, clean. I scrubbed all the fins with a bottle brush, and soapy water. Clean and dry, really well anything you want the paint to stick to. I used High Temp Stove paint, is holding up great.

are you just masking/taping anything you don't want painted, or are you taking everything apart?

thinking about doing this myself, and I've seen both ways done -- but didn't know if you had recommendations after doing it.
