Could be wrong but I am thinking if the display shows "tilt", you have to turn the ignition off and on three times before the scooter will restart.

My girl dropped mine about a thousand miles ago. About the same thing, dropped it while backing it into a space while running and the tilt killed it. I lucked out and only had a slightly bent brake lever. I didn't even notice it, but she pulled it off and put a new one on for me anyways. Haven't had an issue with it.

Glad to hear everyone including the insurance is fine, tell your friends they want to sit -- go to the dealer, all's well that ends well.

PS: If you slam it into something & it won't kick over, then you need to look at it, it is made of good old steel & will take a beating just listen to how many belts some guys go through.

Just dropped mine while turning too tight in my gravel driveway. Thankfully nobody saw me. Thanks to the engine guard and saddle bags I had zero damage. I don't know about "yanking" it back up though, did that once and pulled something in the back of my neck that took me a year to get over. The DVD "Ride like a Pro" has a part that shows some little chick getting a bigass bagger road king back up using a neat technique that I now know works.
