Mine is on the fork tube and it rode perfectly till I swapped in Progressive springs...now at certain RPM ranges it's nothing but a blur.

When I moved mine I started having issues. Now I have lean a little to the left to see how fast I am going when I pass the dealer. It looks like a tumor where it is stock.

Hi Moya,
Congrats on the purchase. I ordered the JM Speedo myself and love the look. Very easy to install and this is coming from a guy who has never owned, rode, or worked on a motorcycle until 3 mos. ago. I would recommend getting a manual and the right tools.

Hey HDIron2, yes I'm very excited to get it soon. Saw a couple of pics of it installed and I do love the look. Seems very sturdy and just a well rounded product. But on the downside I did read you need to take off the front tire to lower the forks to be able to install it
I dont have tools for that. Hoping my local bike shop won't charge me that much to install it.

Awww man, take the advice. Get some tools and get after it!

Nothing like being able to work on your own scoot and compare stories with guys who do the same. Then at some point you can even offer advice to people here because you've "been there, done that"

We all had to learn somewhere. Service manual and tools are cheaper than paying the stealer to do it AND you can always ask questions on here if you run into issues.

Enjoy!!

Even a simple task such as changing spark plus makes me happy!
