Default Bars

Hey curious about you guys who have zbars or biltwell keystones, just wondering how much this changes from stock position. I'm thinking about the keystones at $105 shipped on ebay. I also see that someone has a set posted here.

Default Lick's

I picked up a pair of 10" z's from Lick's and love them compared to the buckhorns I had when I bought the bike. Lick's has a lot of different sizes in height. I was looking at the keystones too, but decided to go with the Lick's cuz they had less pull back.

What I did to help me "feel" how they would be, before I bought em: take an old metal coat hanger and bend it to the measurements that the fabricators provide. Not perfect but it helped a lot in the final decision

Would you say the Z's have more or less pullback that stock bars?

Depends on who makes em, that's why you have to do your research

I have to make a correction to above post, I bought the the Licks because there was no downslope or drop to them.

If a website doesn't post the specs just shoot them an e-mail and most will get back to you with the measurements

I have the Licks 10" Z bars and love them! They are narrower than stock bars; 29" compared to 32"; and less pull back. Licks has dimensions on their website. Here is a picture of them on my 48!

For a cheap way to do a mock-up,1/2" PVC pipe and some fittings work well. You can cut to length dry fit them together, then adjust them to the specs you need or want to try. That way you can sit on the bike and see how they feel. You may need to wrap some tape around the PVC to clamp it into the bar clamp. Please don't ride the bike with PVC bars.
