I got a 19" six spoke front rim for my 04 sporty. It's for a 2005 dyna, which has the 1" bearings. My question is, do I need to replace the bearings to 3/4", or can I simply swap out the axle for a 1"? Thanks.
But I would think bearing would be the way to go...
I was going to go with a different rear wheel on my 05', it called for 3/4 bearings...and the Indy guy told me we'd just put one inch bearings for my one inch axle...
They say the fork sliders fit 2000 and up models, so I'm assuming the 2 different axles are the same at the ends, and just turned down more where it goes through the bearings. But I could be very wrong here.
