issues with throttle sleeve removal
I guess the previous owner applied a ton of glue for his grips.
I've tried wd40 and nail polish removal to break the glue, no luck.
Aside from buying a new sleeve , any other suggestions to get this grip off the sleeve?

I think he is trying to remove the plastic sleeve from inside the throttle grip so he can put on a different grip.
What grips are you trying to install? Most grips that are made for the throttle side come with the sleeve..

As for the prev post, they are skull grips.

shove a small screwdriver down the grip to kind of stretch it out a little..if wd40 doesn't work, spray some carb cleaner down there next to the screwdriver in a few places(just clean it out fast if you plan on keeping the grips), the grip should twist a little then slide rite off. i have seen some grips on good, but never one that wouldn't come off.. try taking the lever and switches off, put a 2x4 against the grip and drive it off with a hammer
ok here is how to do it.....get a metal coat hanger and cut about 12 inches of it off and straighen it out ...next bend it to a capitol "T" shape....file the bottom of the "T" smooth .....now shove the bottom of the "T" in between the handle bar and the grip until it reaches the end of the handlebar....now twist the top of the "T" and it should walk around the handlebar the opposite way that you twist....keep twisting until the wire walks all the way around the handlebar circumference....pull out the "T" and the grip should come off now....
