Default Gas flowing straight through carb.

Just did a carb rebuild on my cv carb on my 93 sportster. When I turn my bike to reserve to fill the carb it just runs straight through the carb to the drain hose under my bike. I would think its a stuck float but I just cleaned the entire carb and put a new float needle in. I want this bike done and running by this weeks Delmarva bike week.

Did you forget to put the drain screw back in the bowl? http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....RETOR-ASSEMBLY

Float installed incorrectly, sounds like its not closing and overfilling your float bowl. Don't forget to check your float level when you have it open.

Float adjustment is detailed in your service manual under carb rebuild.
