Does anyone out there know how the python slash muffler compare to the v-h twin slash muffler. friend of mine has v-h on his bike and they sound great and look great. He said I should get them for my Iron , but I don't know I may want something that looks alittle different that sounds and performs just as well. I don't want a cookie cutter experiance. If they don't compare that well, then I would go with the v-h's just based on what I know of them already. thanks all.
P.S. they need to be blacked out!
Can't speak about the V&H, but I had a set of Python 3's on a Heritage. They were so loud, that no one would ride behind me. Lost my low and mid torque, too. Added Thunder Monsters and they worked great after that. Still too dang loud.
Been told that Pythons are made by V&H for Drag Specialties.
You didn't mention Rush, but I had a set on a Street Glide and Road Glide and they worked and sounded great.

I was undecided among the V&H Twin Slash and the SE.
I wanted some sound, but also peace with neighbors.
I went SE and I am very happy with the choice. Definitely louder than stock (even a squirrel can fart louder than that), enough to be heard by cars, but not obnoxiously so.
Install was pretty easy, after some WD40 to lose the old mufflers grip on the headers.
