Just inherited a 99 sporty (I have only owned ultras). It's an 883 with dyna front end, floor boards, custom paint and other cool stuff. However, it lacks power. Any suggestions?

Best bang for your buck - 1200 or 1250 conversion

Strait pipes.bigger carb jet's and air cleaner.Then go to your local airport and buy some aviation gas.That will make it haul *** for next to nothing.

If it has sat dormant for a long period of time it could be a matter of varnish build up in the carburetor causing it to run sluggishly. If it's running as it should run but you are unhappy with the power of an 883 then go with the upgrade kits.
