Exclamation riser bolt

I need to know what size screw goes into the top of the riser to hold the clamp down. I ordered a pair of riser from Jp and they cant tell me the size. I have my stock bolts that fit the thread but I need a 1 inch long thread mine are 1.5inch long. Any input would be helpful. Im hoping someone in here knows the thread size and width so I can go to a hardware store and just pick some up.

what if you just thread a nut onto the end of the bolts u have and hack them to size needed ? then affter u cut them to size remove the nut and it will de bur the cut end and make a happy thread !

It varies by year. Mine are 5/16"-18 x 1.5 and x 2" SHCS. The Ronnie's H-D link would be good for the OP to look up his specific bike and find the screw he is talking about.

Yeh I just needed the thread size and width I need 1 inch long bolts. I bought after market jp risers so looking up stock size wouldnt have helped. now Im hoping 5/16-18 1 inch bolts will work. I did think about cutting the bolts I have but if I can buy new ones Id be happier less work for a few cents more literally.
