My nieghbor asked me to convert his 883 to 1200 after my basically stock Street Glide thumped him. I'm in the middle of it now. There is a link to some of the pics below. Once I got into it he decided to change cams.
He also wanted more chrome so he just ordered chrome Rocker Boxes, Gear case and Primary. This should be really nice once complete.
I am doing the chrome upgrades along with 9.5:1 weisco pistons. Fresh Jugs, Screaming eagle Ign module. Yost Power tube and Big City thunder baffles in his SE II exhaust. Oh and also Screming Eagle Cams. I've got my hands full. Will post more pics as it progresses.
This is the first time I have ever worked on a Motorcyle. It has been really cool so far. I've been building cars since I was about 15.
I'm thinking of calling him and telling him I don't feel like putting back together. Now is the time to black mail him for a bunch of money. I'm thinking the dealer would want $600-700 to put it all back together at a minimum.
