Map, map, whose got the map?
I have an 09 883 with duke intake and short shots. I am running a PCV with the canned map for this set up from dynojet. The problem is, they created this map for the short shots with the stock baffles. I am running the quiet baffles.
Vance and Hines maps for the fuel pack has 3 maps for the short shots: no baffles, stock baffles, and quiet baffles.
This tells me that there must be a needed adjustment for each setup.
I called Dynojet and they DO NOT have a map for the quiet baffles. Short of taking my bike to a tuner (I will after 1250 conversion) I am stuck with a not so accurate map.
Has anybody out there with 883 and short shots been able to find a map for the quiet baffles? If so, where? I bought my PCV from DynoJet so fuelmoto is not an option for me.
Thanks in advance.

Allen, herein lies just one of the advantages of the Power Vision tuner over the PC[III,V]; it's ability to autotune would have your problem resolved in the time it took you to perform a couple of 30 minute rides.
I'd venture to say that the PCV MAP is "close" and I can't imagine there being a markedly noticeable difference in tune between baffles...at least nothing harmfull can be done. But remember, after all, all "canned" MAP's are merely in the ballpark, as there are differences in all engines, intakes, exhausts, fuels, along with atmospheric/elevation conditions that make it virtually impossible to make a sewing machine running engine with every possible mod combination across the globe, soooooooooooo unless you're going with a tuner that provides an autotune feature or shell out the dough for a dyno session and a couple hours of qualified tech time, you're always going to be just "in the ballpark." 'Tis the way it is.
Yet from all the reading I've done here of those running ie., XiED's, the phrases "in the ballpark" and "good enough" seem to be mutually accepted around here. But what's impressive is that good enough isn't good enough for you! I hope you find a proper solution, but unfortunately, that may mean a trip to an indy for a dyno tune to satisfy your requirements and mind. Best wishes.
